How we Train
At There For You Dog Training I know that every dog and owner team is going to have their own unique challenges and needs. I work with you 1-on-1 to tailor a plan to your specific situation to help you reach your goals with your dog. We use methods that creates clear communication, builds a strong relationship with your dog, and provides results that last a lifetime. Whether you need help with a puppy, basic and advanced manners, getting your dog comfortable with the vet or at-home care, or you just want to learn more about your dog, I’m here for you.
All training starts with a 90 minute Consultation which includes going over your concerns and starting to address them, talking about your goals, education, and training. After the consult, any follow up sessions are 30-60 minutes to continue working on your goals. All consults and sessions include a write up post-session on everything we talked about, the training we started, and next steps.
I am an Asheville, NC based dog trainer, but I travel to surrounding areas and offer virtual sessions for those that are outside of my travel range, so we can work together no matter where you are!
Services
Teach your dog to not only tolerate veterinary services and at-home care, but also be a willing participant and stay still for them! This can be anything from nail trims, injections, brushing, ear medications, and more.
Basic and advanced manners and skills are taught 1-on-1 at your home and out in the real world. We can also address minor behavior problems from pulling on the leash to running out the door.
These early learning experiences will shape your dog long term. We will go over not only common puppy problems like potty training and basic manners, but also ways to create a confident puppy and how to properly socialize them.
Day training and Walk n’ Train are great for those who don’t have as much time to train their dog as they would like, but need some help on accomplishing goals, or want their dog to learn during a walk.
