My Philosophy

At There For You Dog Training, I take each individual dog and person into account while going over concerns, goals, and the needs of both you and your dog. This is done with positive reinforcement/force-free methods. These science based training methods create clear communication between you and your dog to make training and living together easier, gives your dog confidence, builds your dog’s trust in you, and creates a strong bonded relationship that lasts a lifetime. I believe in not just helping you learn how to train your dog, but also to understand your dog. When you are better able to understand your dog, living together becomes easier and more enjoyable.

Meet Your Dog Trainer, Kaylei

VSA-CDT (online), FFCP Trainer

I started my journey of helping animals with getting a B.S. in Zoology at the University of Maine. After graduating I worked in a shelter with cats for a year before moving back home. I quickly found myself in the world of veterinary medicine and was a vet assistant for 4 years before deciding to change careers to become a dog trainer. I love being a vet assistant, but after adopting and training my dog, Kangaroo, I found a new passion and way I'd like to help people and their dogs. So many dogs struggle in trying to learn how our world works and what's expected of them, and it can be hard for people to learn how dogs work as well. That's where I come in and why I'm here.

My biggest passion is being able to help pets and their owners have less stressful vet and grooming visits, and for at-home care to be easier.

I am a graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy's Online Dog Trainer Course, and have completed the Fear Free Trainer course.
